Traumatic experiences and chronic adversity are a reality for many of us – our clients, families, staff, and surrounding communities. As effective service providers, it is important to be able to identify and address the impacts of trauma, while helping clients build skills and gain resources to lead safe and healthy lives. In this training, participants will explore how trauma can impact the way people engage in services. Through small- and large-group discussion, participants will identify ways to engage service recipients through a trauma-informed lens.
