 /b>\n\nDCADV offers a semi-annual two-day Domestic Violence 101 (DV101) Tr
 aining.  DV101 is the Coalition’s signature training event and attracts a 
 multidisciplinary audience from across the state.  Participants typically 
 include domestic violence service providers\, nonprofit organizations\, la
 w enforcement agencies\, and state employees working on issues ranging fro
 m behavioral health services to human resources to the criminal justice sy
 stem.  DV101 provides an overview of the dynamics and prevalence of domest
 ic violence\, and teaches participants effective advocacy skills that supp
 ort safety and empowerment across systems.  \n\nTopics covered during the 
 training include:\n- History & Culture of Domestic Violence\n- Dynamics of
  Abusive Relationships\n- Empowerment Advocacy\n- Risk Assessment\n- Safet
 y Planning\n- Community Resources\n- Criminal Justice and Civil Justice Sy
 stems\n- Protection from Abuse Orders\n- Trauma-Informed Services\n- Preve
