 k women. This workshop encourages open candid discussions about the need f
 or a paradigm shift to dually focus on safety and healing for African Amer
 ican victims and on reckoning with/healing past institutionalized racial t
 rauma. “Hurt….” offers a unique experience wherein participants get to exa
 mine racial biases related to major negative myths about black women -Jeze
 bel\, Mammy\, Sapphire-through guided relaxation/contemplation exercises.
 \n\n<b>Presenter: Yolanda Pourciau\, Yolanda Speaks</b>\nYolanda Pourciau 
 is an inspirational speaker\, professor\, trainer\, and social activist. S
 he has over twenty years of experience uplifting\, challenging\, and educa
 ting audiences with her dynamic\, down to earth\, storytelling style. Her 
 areas of expertise include: Motivation/Inspiration\, Diversity/Inclusion a
 nd Stress Management/Wellness. The over-arching theme of her work is “We M
 ust Face It\, to Fix It! To that end Yolanda is a major proponent of intro
 spective practices such as self-inventory\, meditation\, contemplation\, m
 indfulness\, retreat\, extended silence\, and yoga. Be prepared to quiet a
 nd look within if Yolanda is your guide. As an activist\, Yolanda works di
 ligently to increase awareness of and commitment to ending racial\, gender
 \, spiritual injustice in our world. Yolanda created the Facebook page: Af
 rican American Women and Girls and DV and Sexual Violence where she educat
 es the community about the trauma and triumphs of African American women a
 nd encourages community support and accountability for black girl’s safety

 itutionalized Domestic and Sexual Violence\, Approval #210423-1\, provided
  by Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence is approved for continuin
 g education by the NASW-DE Continuing Education Approval Collaborative. CE
  Approval Collaborative Approval Period: Friday\, April 23\, 2021 through 
 January 31\, 2023. Delaware social workers will receive 1.5 General CE cre
 dits for participating in this course.\n\n\nThis program is funded through
