 e of a Peacemaking Circles.\n\n<b>Presenter</b>\nCharito Calvachi-Mateyko 
 is the founding member of the Latino Initiative on Restorative Justice\, I
 nc. (LIRJ)\, a 501(c)(3) and she is the principal of Delaware Transformati
 ve Justice\, LLC\, both based in Newark\, DE. In her service to the commun
 ity\, appointed by three Delaware Governors\, she is Co-Chair of the Delaw
 are Hispanic Commission. Additionally\, she is the Coordinator of the Dela
 ware Civil Rights Coalition\, and board member of ACLU-DE. She is the 2016
  recipient of the Restorative Justice Life Achievement Award from AdVoz in
  Lancaster\, PA. Her publications range from topics in Circles and trauma 
 healing and resilience to the strategic use of the media in peacebuilding.
  With a B.A. in political sciences\, and a doctorate degree in law from PU
 CE\, she also obtained a master in conflict transformation under the mento
 rship of Howard Zehr\, known as the “grandfather of restorative justice” a
 t CJP in EMU. She has been a keynote hired by the UN and the USAID and COM
 JIB.\n\nRegistration will open 6 weeks prior to the event.  CEUs are pendi
 ng approval.\n\nThis program is funded through the Delaware Criminal Justi
 ce Council by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services\, Administr
 ation for Children and Families\, Family Violence Prevention and Services 
 Program.
