  four-part training series\, hosted by the Delaware Coalition Against Dome
 stic Violence (DCADV) and the Delaware Money School\, to learn more about 
 budgeting\, credit scores\, creating and maintaining financial stability\,
  navigating financial institutions\, and practicing health financial relat
 ionships.  This series will be held every Wednesday in April from 12 p.m. 
 to 1 p.m.\n\n<b><u>Session 1:</u> Wednesday\, April 6\, 2022\; 12 p.m. – 1
  p.m.\nSetting the Stage: The History of Modern Financial Institutions and
  the Importance of a Healthy Financial Relationship</b>\nThe opening sessi
 on of this series will prep participants for future sessions on managing p
 ersonal finances. Presenters will discuss how historical contexts influenc
 e the way modern-day financial institutions operate and how they impact pe
 rsonal finances. The presenters will close with discussing how healthy fin
 ancial relationships can be crucial to managing finances.\n\n<b><u>Session
  2:</u>  Wednesday\, April 13\, 2022\; 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.\nThere is a Hole i
 n My Pocket</b>\nThe second session will explore why and how money finds i
 ts way out of our pockets and what we can do about it. The presenter will 
 discuss the logistics of creating a budget and strategies for building sav
 ings.\n\n<b><u>Session 3:</u>  Wednesday\, April 20\, 2022\; 12 p.m. – 1 p
 .m.\nBest Thing Money Can Buy</b>\nWhat is financial freedom? This session
  will explore the concept of financial freedom and discuss the many obstac
 les in our way when it comes to our financial lives. Participants will wal
 k away with varying techniques on how to overcome financial obstacles.\n\n
 <b><u>Session 4:</u>  Wednesday\, April 27\, 2022\; 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.\nCrac
 k the Credit Code</b>\nThe final session in this series will discuss credi
 t\, credit scores\, and credit reports. The presenter will review the vari
 ous credit tools available and how to use them.\n\nParticipants are encour
 aged to attend all four sessions.  Registrants will receive the Zoom link 
 to each session the day before at the email provided in registration\, and
  will also receive a FREE financial care package at completion of the seri
 es! (if a valid mailing address is provided at registration - it is not re
 quired to register for the series).  Recordings and electronic materials w
 ill also be made available to registered participants.
