 hat impact our safety and our health. Common mental health issues (depress
 ion\, PTSD\, suicidality\, anxiety\, addictions) are often exacerbated by 
 domestic/ intimate partner violence. Intimate partner violence may also re

 ms/survivors from personal and professional support systems. Mental health
  service providers have a unique connection with service recipients\, and

 red toward mental/behavioral health providers\, substance abuse treatment 
 providers\, social workers\, and therapists.\n \n<b>Join us for a two-part
  webinar training to learn more!</b>\n\n<b>Session 1: Monday\, September 1
 8\, 2023  10:00 - 11:30 a.m.</b>\n\nSession 1 will provide a foundational 
 overview of the dynamics and prevalence of domestic violence and trauma. P
 articipants will explore the intersections of DV\, trauma\, and mental hea
 lth\, and some of the barriers that service recipients may experience to s
 eeking help.\n\n<b>Session 2: Monday\, September 25\, 2023   10:00 - 11:30
  a.m.</b>\n\nSession 2 will focus on intervention strategies\, and will te
 ach participants effective advocacy skills that support safety and empower
 ment with their service recipients. Participants will become familiar with
  local community resources where individuals can receive additional servic
 es.\n\nEach session has been approved for 1.5 CEUs through the NASW-DE.  I
 t is highly recommended that participants attend both sessions.
