Research documents increases in domestic violence (DV) associated with all types of disasters. As rates of DV rise, so does demand for services. However, disasters negatively impact the environments where services are provided, making it difficult for systems and services to support survivors. In this 2-part webinar series, a research team from the University of Delaware will discuss strategies for building system capacity and resilience to mitigate increased risk of domestic violence during disasters.
