Delaware’s only professional modern dance company, Pieces of a Dream, will perform ToGetHer, a truly powerful, memorable piece on domestic violence. POAD explores contemporary societal issues through the medium of dance to engage and educate the community.
To The Moon is an award-winning docudrama based on interviews with domestic violence survivors, lifting up their stories with humor, tragedy and revelation. WOCTF members, DCADV staff, and other DE DV advocates will perform a dramatic reading of the play, with discussion afterward.
*Please note: Performances are intended for an adult audience. Some aspects of the performance content may be difficult, especially to survivors of domestic violence/trauma. Licensed Clinical Therapists will be available to assist if you need support.
Registration is required. There is no cost to attend the event. As always, the Women of Color Task Force appreciates contributions to support our annual operating costs, and ongoing advocacy, outreach, and other efforts.
Raffles and drawings are optional, and tickets may be purchased with cash.
Certificates of participation will be available after the event.
