Healthy Relationships Start With Us: How to Help When It Matters Most
What does a healthy relationship look like—and what can we do when someone we care about is experiencing an unhealthy or abusive relationship? Join us for this free, online community training designed for parents and other caring adults who want to better understand healthy relationships, recognize signs of domestic violence, and learn how to support someone who may be experiencing abuse.
Together, we’ll explore:
- What healthy and unhealthy relationships can look like
- Warning signs of controlling or abusive behavior
- How domestic violence can affect individuals and families
- What to say—and what to avoid saying—when someone reaches out for help
- Practical ways to support a friend, family member, neighbor, or loved one
- How to connect someone with appropriate resources and support
You don’t need to be a professional or have specialized knowledge to make a difference. This training is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and build the confidence to respond with compassion and support when someone you care about needs help.
