VAWA Confidentiality: Survivor Privacy, Safety, and Choice

This presentation explores the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) confidentiality protections, outlining statutory requirements, best practices, and survivor‑centered approaches for sharing client information. Participants will gain practical guidance on consent, disclosure, and safeguarding personally identifying information.

VAWA Confidentiality: Protecting Survivor Privacy, Safety, and Choice as a live/virtual event on June 23, 2026 has been approved by the CE Approval Collaborative Review Committee for up to 1.5 Category I CEUs in ETHICS for course # 20260623 Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence is approved for this continuing education event by the NASW-DE Continuing Education Approval Collaborative. CE Approval Collaborative Approval Period: May 18, 2026, through January 31, 2027. Delaware social workers will receive up to 1.5 CE credits in ETHICS for participating in this course.
